Request and Review Evidence

Create a Document Request

1. Open the engagement and go to Documents.
2. Choose Request a Document, enter the document name, and add instructions for the client.
3. Set the due date and relevant audit context, then save the request.
4. Review submitted documents and record whether they meet the request or need follow-up.

Make Requests Clear

Include the period, scope, and type of evidence you need in the instructions. Avoid requesting unrelated personal information.

Use the engagement workspace to review evidence so it remains associated with the correct audit. Do not treat an upload alone as approval of its contents.
